Elizabeth McCormack is a Financial Advisor with Fuller, Frost, Lanier Wealth Management, and holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) designation and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM™) designation, a three-arm course of study encompassing risk assessment, risk control, and risk financing.
Elizabeth earned her BS in Biology from Augusta State University in 1997 and her MS in Environmental Science and Public Policy in 2001 from the Medical University of South Carolina and the College of Charleston. Elizabeth maintained her affiliation with the Medical University of South Carolina, where after finishing her graduate work, she was hired as a radiation physicist. She then transitioned to financial risk management when she was promoted as Manager of Insurance Programs within the division of Finance and Administration.
Upon deciding to follow in her father’s footsteps and enter the financial services industry, Elizabeth, in 2011, passed the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 exams and also acquired her insurance and variable products licenses. She worked as a broker for Morgan Stanley until February of 2013, and then joined her father, Chuck Lanier, working as a financial planner. Elizabeth finds the dynamic nature of her work with individuals and families very stimulating and rewarding, both on a personal and professional level. She shares her father's firm belief in providing ethical financial advice, based on a thorough understanding of every client. She enjoys listening to people’s histories, getting a real sense of who they are and where they see their and their loved ones’ lives going, and developing investment plans tailored to their specific goals and family situations.
Elizabeth is a past Fundraising Chair and Finance Council Member of the Junior League of Charleston, South Carolina and a past Board and Finance Council Member of the Junior League of Augusta, Georgia. She is a member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club of Augusta, where she sits on the Board of Directors.
